Last updated: 17 September 2026

This notice explains how Bisnoi Healthcare Consulting collects and uses personal data about nurses, healthcare assistants and other candidates who contact us or register with us, and about the employers we work with. It also explains your rights and how to exercise them.

We never charge candidates a fee. Bisnoi Healthcare Consulting does not charge, request or accept any payment from a candidate at any stage, and does not offer loans, advances or salary-deduction arrangements for recruitment, examination, registration, permit or travel costs. If anyone asks you to pay a fee in connection with a role we are handling, please contact us immediately.

The information we collect

If you are a candidate, we collect what you send us or enter on our registration form:

  • Name, contact details, nationality and country of residence
  • Your CV, qualifications, professional registration details and work history
  • English language test results (IELTS or OET) and your registration status with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, where relevant
  • Availability, role preferences and salary expectations
  • How you heard about us
  • Records of our correspondence with you

Later in the process, and only where an employer is actively considering you, we may need identity and immigration documents, references, and information required for an employment permit application.

Please do not send us passport copies, identity documents, photographs, medical information, or details of your marital status, religion or family circumstances unless we specifically ask for them. We do not need this information to assess your application, and we will delete anything we do not need.

If you are an employer or a supplier, we collect the business contact details of the people we deal with, together with records of our dealings with your organisation.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

PurposeLegal basis
Assessing your application and keeping you on our register so we can match you to suitable vacancies Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time
Sharing your details with a named employer who has a relevant vacancy Your consent, given for that specific employer
Supporting an employment permit or registration application once you have accepted an offer Performance of our agreement with you and with the employer, and compliance with legal obligations
Keeping the records an Irish licensed employment agency is required to keep, including numbers of applicants, placements, and placements outside the State Compliance with our legal obligations under the Employment Agency Act 1971 and regulations made under it
Managing our client and supplier relationships, accounting, and responding to enquiries Our legitimate interests in running the business, and legal obligations such as tax record keeping

We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not use your data for profiling or advertising.

Who we share it with

  • Employers. We share your details with a prospective employer only after you have agreed to us doing so for that employer.
  • Partner recruitment agencies. Where you were introduced to us by a licensed partner agency in your own country, or where such an agency supports your application, we exchange information with them for that purpose only.
  • Service providers. We use business software to run our email, files and candidate records. These providers process data on our instructions under written agreements.
  • Public authorities. We provide information where the law requires it, for example to the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment in connection with an employment permit application, or to the Workplace Relations Commission in the course of an inspection.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else without telling you.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Because we recruit internationally, your data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, including India and the Philippines, which are not the subject of an EU adequacy decision. Where that happens we put appropriate safeguards in place, normally the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with an assessment of the protections available in the receiving country. You can request a copy of the safeguards we rely on by contacting us.

How long we keep it

  • Candidates on our register who are not placed: 12 months from our last meaningful contact with you, after which we delete your CV and personal details. We will ask if you would like to stay registered for a further period.
  • Candidates we place: for the duration of the placement and for six years afterwards, to meet legal, tax and permit-related record-keeping obligations.
  • Statutory agency records: the statistical records we are required to keep as a licensed employment agency, which do not identify you individually.
  • Client and supplier records: six years from the end of the relationship.

How we protect it

Candidate records are held in access-controlled business accounts protected by two-factor authentication. Access is limited to those who need it to do their work. We keep only the documents we need, and delete the rest. If a data breach occurs that is likely to present a risk to you, we will notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours and inform you where required.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Ask us to delete your data, and to withdraw your consent to being kept on our register at any time
  • Ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to its use where we rely on legitimate interests
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@bisnoiconsulting.ie. We will respond within one month. Withdrawing your consent costs you nothing and will not affect any application already under way with your agreement.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, or at dataprotection.ie.
